Paul was a good person killed by a bad world.
something needs to be done about todays casual, cold blooded violence by youngsters - the government, police and most importantly parents need to do something. People in government along with people from better neighborhoods do not understand how bad the problem is. They only see police statistics, people get mugged, beaten up and stabbed on a very regular basis around here, 99% of it goes unreported because when the police are informed, too often nothing happens, the police don't seem to try to help.

RIP Paul, you will always be remembered

why?

i didnt know paul but still i feel saddedned by what has happened to him.. the boy was just 14.. at that age i use to climb trees and kick a ball around in the park with friends.. now im 25 ..i look at pauls face in the picture and my eyes swell up with pain and sorrow..why? i dont know.. he looks so young ..the expression on his face in the picture..i cant explain it..but i can tell he was a good kid....why these bastards took his life i will never know and the killer is probably still out there.. the killer might think he has gotten away with this senseless murder ..but there is one thing he cant escape .. and thats his dreams.
I think the killers conscience and dreams will be scarred forever..and thats one thing you cant runaway from .. nightmares.. im sure the will killer will have them for the rest of his life..

rest in peace paul

my heart goes out to you ,your family and close friends.. i hope u are in a better place

IF SOME OF THESE BOYS WERE SUPPOSEDLY INNOCENT THEN THEY SHOULD OF BEEN MORE CHOOSY OF WHO THEY HUNG AROUND WITH

It was the intention of these murderers to intimidate and bully other youngsters on this estate/close, I know this estate as i lived there myself 15 years ago, These killers dont even live on the estate, but they have gone there to intimate people that do, I'm sure they wouldn't have carried on this way outside their own front doors. I agree with the following statement made by Det Supt Horne.
Comment made by Det Supt Horne: 'If you go out on the streets with your friends and you know your friends are carrying a knife and you arm yourself as well then the courts are going to find you guilty as if you had inflicted that fatal blow.
Think about that when you go out with your mates and one of you carries a knife'

We all have the choice of who we choose to be friends with and who we associate with, these boys have no regard for life, they didn't give a damn about Paul and his friend. They are low life bad minded thugs.

Rest in peace Paul xx and look over your family & keep them safe.
To Pauls mum and dad, be strong for one another and for your children xx

Justice for PAUL

We want justice for Paul, but this was not justice as Pauls real killer is still free and there are some boys who have had their freedom taken while the real killer enjoys life and Pauls was taken from him and some innocent kids are paying for what they never did.How can Paul ever rest in peace? ? ?

Justice Hasn\'t Been Done.

Firstly i would just like too say that my heart goes out to the Erahahon family, & also Steven & his family, neither of these boys deserved what they got. BUT JUSTICE HASN'T BEEN DONE. How could the jury find someone guilty if they weren't even in the dock. The trial should of never taken place without the murderer being in the dock, the boys that were convicted never murdered Paul, so how can he rest in peace. Something has to be done to get justice for Paul. Rob & Adele & Debbie, please e-mail to talk brooke3579@yahoo.co.uk

re rob

my sympathies also go out to Paul and Stevens family. But i do echo everything that Rob has said. I can say this as i was somebody who sat in the gallery on numerous occasions throughout the trial, because i took great interest in the case and i know that justice has not been done, ie the boys that were convicted were not the murderer. please rob contact me on D.LIVERPOOL@SKY.COM so that we can talk furher. thank you

I agree that Justice should be served, but I don't agree with lies, false impressions and the fact the wrong sort of justice has been done. It's one thing saying 'oh yes they got what they deserved” but what about thinking if the right people have been caught, if justice has been served on the right lives that now they are looking at a long time away from their own families who are also devastated and have lost their sons too.

As we know these are very young boys, where is the evidence besides hear-say as to what PEOPLE think or thought they saw, where is the justice on just thinking well 'just another bunch of black boys so they must be guilty' where is the justice on the fact they say there were a big group of up to 15/17 boys, so why were there only 7 that have been through this and now 6 have convicted but convicted on what evidence? You have no forensic, no stable or REAL eye witnesses besides young children that thought this was a game and play 'Guess WHO', No ID'S, BUT MOST OF ALL NOT even the real killer was trailed as people were to scared to come forward and just choose to hind away but let others take the wrap.

I am sure you must see where I am coming from with this, not that I can say that any real justice has been served besides the fact that 1 boy walked away free that was ID etc but had managed to slip out of the net for whatever reason and is thinking he has got away with setting up others and telling porkies on others to free himself. Just so happens that the Jury believed HIS deadly story and not seen that they did let go someone that has a mind to commit murder, attempted murder and to set up others that he disliked, jealous of and to name those didn’t even or would think of committing such a vile crime.

That is not Justice, its role-play and Paul will not rest in peace because his real killer is still out there, Steven won't be able to walk confidentially on the streets without looking over his shoulder because the killer(s) are still out there and for whatever reason people choose to cover and lie for them. Maybe they were threatened, who knows? The fact is covering for a killer doesn’t help you get over, overcome or get the Justice you merit. Letting others take the blame for someone else’s horrid actions is cruel, cunning and playing devil’s advocate. I WANT JUSTICE BUT NOT THIS WAY!!!!

Thank you to those that have read this and to think about what I am saying, and I ask you or know of anyone that can set this record straight that knows anything and I am talking about the truth then still do come forward and to help us get the Justice that PAUL AND STEVEN REALLY DESERVE.
